There are so many places to choose from when it comes to dining, but which ones are truly the best? Los Angeles houses some top quality restaurants in the valley. 

The Rose Venice.

 This restaurant is known for its California twist on Italian food. They serve breakfast through dinner. Head Chef, Jason Neroni’s food receives excellent ratings from those who have dined there. The building’s design makes it easy for customers to find a comfortable place to sit and dine whether it be outside on the patio or at the bar. The Rose Venice is said to serve “Hundreds if not thousands of diners a day.” The price range is usually $30 and under.

Felix

 This is another Italian restaurant, located on Abbot Kinney Blvd. in the city of Venice. The restaurant serves a variety of freshly prepared salads and handmade pastas. Evan Funke, the head chef, hand makes the pastas and prepares the dishes in a very appealing matter. Appetizers are usually $12-$18, pizzas $20-$24, pastas $20-$26, main courses $24-$33 typically higher for steaks, lastly, desserts $10-$14. 

Mizala

 Located on Sepulveda Blvd. in Sherman Oaks, Mizala was opened by former SBE chef, Danny Elmaleh and his wife Justine. This Middle Eastern style restaurant presents inexpensively priced dishes packed with many enjoyable flavors and unique cooking techniques. Established in 1947, Mel’s Drive-in is a further down Ventura Blvd. but is completely worth the drive. If you are a sucker for a traditional American vintage feel, Mel’s is a perfect place to dine. From steak and eggs for breakfast to cheeseburgers and fries for dinner all at an average price. The family-friendly atmosphere makes you feel relaxed and comfortable.

 

Melody’s

Melody’s on Reseda Blvd. is a little traditional Mexican diner serves authentic Mexican cuisine. Set at an average price range, you can get some of the best tasting Mexican food out there.

 

 

 

 

 

Taj Mahal

Yet another restaurant located on the infamous Ventura Blvd. Taj Mahal is a great Indian food from its garlic naan bread to the wonderful spices of their chicken tikka masala.
