Colleges Coming To Taft In November

Are you interested in learning about colleges? It’s not only for seniors. Colleges visit Taft every month and all you have to do to go is sign up on Naviance and get a purple slip from the college office. These are the colleges coming to Taft for the month of November

University of California, Davis

Known for their agriculture and animal science programs, UC Davis has over 100 majors to choose from. UC Davis is a highly competitive university that is located in Davis, California. They also have a number of athletics programs.

Located in Newark, Delaware, University of Delaware is one of the oldest universities in the United States. Their most common majors include Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services; Health Professions and Related Programs; Social Sciences; Engineering; and Biological and Biomedical Sciences.

 

 

Stony Brook University

Stony Brook University is known for having the only undergraduate journalism school in the SUNY system as well as the highly ranked Stony Brook University Medical Center. It is in Stony Brook New York and also has a good athletics program.

Pierce is a community college in Woodland Hills, California that is known for it’s for transfer education, occupational training, and life-long learning. They have high transfer rates and high acceptance rates.
