For many students, AP costs can be quite pricey, with some if not most tests costing upwards of $120. Thankfully due to much-needed financial support, LAUSD, and our school’s college office are ordering the exams for free for Taft students, covering the cost of the previously expensive exams. These forms will be now due Tuesday, November 14.
AP exams will be ordered for students who submit the registration form (green sheet) and have enrolled in MyAP Classroom. The college office has persistently requested students to make sure to turn in the forms and register for their classes as explained by Ms. Gomez, “We are unable to order exams for students who are not registered.”
Additionally, students may opt out of taking one or more of their scheduled exams by completing the back of the registration form. If you decide to opt out of one or more of your exams and later decide that you desire to take the exam, a $40 late fee may be charged for each exam. Furthermore, a student who has not submitted the opt-out form and does not take the exam will also be charged the late fee.
Although previously due on the 13th of November of this week, Monday, the College office is extending the due date for the forms to Tuesday, November 14 by 3:30 pm in (B107). Additional forms will be available in the College Office should you need another one.
