In the remake of the horror classic “Halloween”, Laurie Strode had a tremendous showdown with Michael Myers who has tormented her since she escaped his Halloween killing spree four decades ago. Michael Myers was able to escape his bus while it was transferring him to a maximum security facility and the bus crashed. Laurie has been waiting for the return of Michael in the hopes that she can finally kill him.

As a big fan of the Halloween franchise, this movie made me fall in love with the franchise all over again. Going into the showing there was worry that it would be another “Halloween: Resurrection” (2002), where there is nothing new and only a reuse of the same scenes from the original. But my goodness is this movie GREAT! Recommended for any Halloween fan or horror movie aficionado, Michael Myers is back and ready to stalk his prey. Get yourself to the theaters and enjoy a spooky treat this Halloween season.

“Halloween”  has a 79% on Rotten Tomatoes which broke the box office at $76m debut weekend. Moviegoer Destiny Clark said, “The “Halloween” movie, in my opinion, was very cliche and funny, but not that brilliant.”
